Dr. Christian Bessmer
Dr. Bessmer is a Norfolk, Nebraska native and graduate of Wayne State College where he received his bachelors degree in chemistry in 2001. After graduating from Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, Minnesota in 2004, Dr. Bessmer moved to Omaha to establish his chiropractic practice. Dr. Bessmer has been a patient of chiropractic since the age of 13, when treatment for a wrestling injury led to the discovery and diagnosis of a spinal condition known as scoliosis.
Dr. Bessmer’s practice philosophy embraces what is known as “evidence based chiropractic care”. His approach combines clinical knowledge and experience with the best research-derived evidence in the field to treat the specific needs of each individual. His goal is to return patients to their optimum level of health as quickly as possible, and provide them with the education needed to maintain and improve their health long after their initial treatment.
Dr. Bessmer has working relationships with health professionals in many disciplines, including pain management, neurology, diagnostic imaging (MRI, CT scans), neurosurgery, and orthopedics. He is happy to work with your primary care physician and/or other specialists to provide a multi-disciplinary approach to your diagnosis and treatment.
In his free time Dr. Bessmer enjoys spending time with family and friends, and loves a good project to keep his hands and mind busy. Dr. Bessmer is an active member of the Nebraska Chiropractic Physicians Association.
Mandy Honeywell
Mandy is the Billing Specialist at Bessmer Chiropractic. She graduated from Chadron State College with a degree in recreation & physical education. Mandy has 15 years of experience as a chiropractic assistant with a strong background in medical billing and insurance. In her free time, Mandy loves playing indoor and sand volleyball, camping, and swimming. She also loves spending time with her husband, Heath, and daughter, Brylee.
